A community 'potluck' buffet supplied by all attendees usually a plate of sandwiches, cakes, festive fare, snacks and nibbles.

We'd like to remind everyone that this is a community buffet supplied by the people attending the event - it only works if everyone who intends to eat from the buffet brings along something to share on the buffet.
