Taking place on Saturday 20th September from 12 noon until 2330hrs - A fun filled family orientated celebration for the clubs 175th year. We are planning a huge celebration which will be free to all members. You must however obtain a free ticket on the website in order for us to ensure we cater for everyone.
Victorian Theme
Optional Victorian fancy dress - think top hats, waistcoats and frock coats for men to bonnets, parasols and bustle dresses for women. Whether Sherlock Holmes or a dock worker with cap and braces, it's capturing the spirit of 1850 and celebrating our club's Victorian beginnings.
History & Programme
175 anniversary programme & reprinted copies of the 125 anniversary programme. History of the Club book available from the bar £10. Authors John Herbert & Nick How available for signing.
Time Capsule & Photo Album
Bring something small, relevant & significant to be buried in a time capsule - document, USB stick, old burgee... nothing bigger than a shackle! There will be a book to document your contribution and a (non buried) scrapbook album for photos.
Food & Drink
Victorian pie, mash & peas followed by FSMBC birthday cake! Selected drinks at £1.75 including a Pimms reception.
Entertainment
The FSMBC Sea Shanty group - The Mudlarks and house bands; The Creekers, Fretknots and Sound Alive! Various games of the era inside and out, fireworks in the creek...
Raffle
Tickets are on sale for £1 via the bar till, first prize £175 - other prizes will be available - All profits to charity.
Pontoon Rally & Procession
On the water parade of new and old vessels & a Pontoon cruiser rally with prizes for the best dressed boat.
